Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Leh Arrive at Leh airport 3505 metres / 11567 feet

Leh is a land of culture and history. As you arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee airport, you will meet our representative, who will transfer you to the hotel. Check-in and the time is to acclimatise. It is important to rest and stay hydrated after arriving at a higher altitude.

Later in the afternoon, you can plan to visit the Shanti Stupa. It is a Buddhist white-domed Japanese pagoda built by Indian-based Japanese monks. It was inaugurated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1985.

The day will end at the hotel in Leh, where you will enjoy your dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2 - Leh local sightseeing of Sangam river-Hall of Fame-Magnetic Hill-Gurudwara Patthar Sahib

Start your morning on a delightful note with a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel. Later, you will proceed on a journey to witness the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Sangam. Continuing the day, our next destination is Gurdwara Pathar Sahib Ji, a sacred site dedicated to the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji. After offering your prayer, proceed to the enchanting Magnetic Hills. This place defies gravity as the vehicle seems to move uphill.

Our final stop for the day is the Leh Hall of Fame. Visit the Kargil War Memorial, built by the Indian Army to pay tribute to soldiers who fought for our nation during the Indo-Pak War. After ending your tour, you will get back to the hotel for a satisfying dinner.

Day 3 - Leh - Nubra Valley

Start your day with breakfast before embarking on a new adventure. You will drive through the highest motorable road, Khardungla Pass, referred to as the gateway to Siachen Glacier. On your way, offer your prayers at Diskit Monastery, a spiritual haven founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo in 1420 A.D. continue the journey to Nubra, and as you reach, check in to your hotel or camp and rest for a while. Our next destination is Hundar village. Here, you can enjoy a thrilling Bactrian Camel Safari amidst the serene dunes.

You will get back to your accommodation in Nubra for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Nubra - Turtuk visit - Nubra

Embrace the beautiful morning and enjoy breakfast in Nubra. Prepare yourself for an enthralling journey. Turtuk was once under the control of the Pakistani government, but after the Indo-Pak war in 1971, it came under the governance of India. Today, Turtuk welcomes tourists, providing them with a truly unparalleled experience. You can see the green fields of apricot trees gracing the villages.

By the end of the day, you'll be transferred back to your hotel or camp in Nubra. Dinner will be served. Stay overnight.

Day 5 - Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and we will get set for a journey to Pangong Lake. Through the scenic route, we will enroute to Shyok and Tang Tse.

Shayok is a picturesque village dwelling amidst the barren mountains. You can choose to capture its beauty and continue the journey to Pangong. As you reach the camp, check-in and spend the day witnessing its enigmatic beauty. Pangong Lake changes its colours from light green to crystal blue, gold, red, and pink in a day. This is worth witnessing.

Take your time to immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. Have dinner at the camp, where you will spend the night.

Day 6 - Pangong Lake- Leh

Breakfast will be served at the hotel before you proceed for the day. Check out, and our representative will drive you back to Leh. The route passes through the scenic Chang La Pass. Along the way, we will stop to explore Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery in Ladakh. Then, visit Thiksey Monastery, perched on a hillock, offering breathtaking views of the Indus Valley. Thiksey Monastery is known for its seated statue of the Maitreya. In the assembly hall or Dukhang, there are several prayer books stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk.

Proceed your journey to admire the beauty of Buddhist stupas, and you will see Shey Palace, the former summer residence of the King of Ladakh. Don't miss the visit to the 3 Idiots School Campus and Sindhu Darshan.

You will reach Leh by the evening, and the time is yours to explore the market, shop, and enjoy local food.

Day 7 - Leh airport drop-off and fly back home

As per the reports, this move comes in the wake of preventing acute high altitude sickness among tourists, for which the Leh (Ladakh) administration has issued an order stating that tourists arriving in Leh will now have to undergo mandatory 48 hours of acclimatization before commencing their journey in the cold desert region. All the tourist places and airport in Leh Ladakh are open to all tourists.

You will now need to be extra cautious while planning a trip to Ladakh. As per the latest development, all those travelling to Ladakh will have to undergo mandatory 48 hours of acclimatization in Leh before continuing their journey.

As Leh is situated at an elevation of 3500 m above sea level, the same can cause sickness among tourists arriving particularly by air; it's worth mentioning that a number of tourists reaching Leh need to be hospitalised as they face mountain sickness.

Persons above 65 years of age, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years (vulnerable section of the people) are advised to travel only in unavoidable circumstances.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the nationals/citizens of CHINA / TAIWAN / AFGHANISTAN / BANGLADESH / PAKISTAN / SRI LANKA / MYANMAR (BURMA) are not allowed to visit restricted areas in Ladakh region. Hence these packages are not applicable for these nationals.

The standard check-in time is noon, and check-out is 10:00 a.m. An early check-in or late check depends on availability and is totally at the discretion of the hotel.

A room can allot a maximum of 3 adults. A mattress shall be provided for the third occupant.

The itinerary, once fixed, cannot be changed. Transportation will be according to the itinerary and will not be available for other purposes. For any paid activity that is not operational due to an unforeseeable reason, a refund will be issued, which will be credited within 30 days of processing.

Complimentary tours and activities for which the guest is not charged, are non-refundable under any circumstance.

No AC will be provided in cold or hilly areas.
