Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Jaipur, followed by a road journey of 200 km lasting approximately 4 hours to reach Ranthambore.

Upon reaching Ranthambore, we will arrange for your smooth transfer to the hotel. This park stands as one of the country's premier tiger reserves, offering visitors an excellent chance to encounter the majestic tigers. Once the private tiger reserve of the Maharaja of Jaipur, it was included in the Project Tiger initiative in 1972. Encompassing 410 square kilometers, it extends from the easternmost spur of the Aravalli Range to the Vindhya Range. Within its boundaries lie both the historic fort and the wildlife sanctuary, also known as Sawai Madhopur after the nearby town, which boasts captivating Jain temples adorned with gilded paintings. In addition to tigers, the park is home to herds of Chital and Sambar Deer, groups of Wild Boar, Nilgai (Antelope), and Chinkara gazelles. You might also catch glimpses of Sloth Bears, a few Leopards, and Crocodiles. The diverse birdlife includes Spur Fowl, Jungle Fowl, Partridges, Quails, Crested Serpent Eagles, Woodpeckers, Flycatchers, and more. The lakes and waterholes attract water birds such as Storks, Ducks, and Geese.

Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 - Exploring Ranthambore

Experience morning and afternoon game drives in Ranthambore National Park (Please note that the cost of these drives is not included in the quote). Please be aware that Ranthambhore Park remains closed from July 1st to September 30th.

Rejuvenate yourself for the next day at your hotel by taking good night's sleep.

Day 3 - Return from Ranthambore to Jaipur by road, covering a distance of 200 km in approximately 4 hours

Upon your arrival in Jaipur, we will ensure your comfortable transfer to your designated hotel.

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and famously known as the "Pink City" due to the extensive use of pink sandstone in constructing its buildings, has a rich history. This splendid city owes its name, foundation, and planning to the great warrior astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh II (1699-1744 AD). Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II founded Jaipur, also known as the "City of Victory," in 1727. It stands as the only city in the world representing the nine divisions of the Universe through its nine rectangular sectors. The city's architectural style combines the grandeur of Mughal and Jain influences, guided by the principles of the Shilpa Shastra, the epic Hindu treatise on architecture. In 1853, Jaipur was painted pink in honor of a visit by Prince Albert, and apart from the bustling traffic of bicycles, cars, and buses, the city has retained much of its historic charm.

Your exploration begins with a visit to Amer Fort, located just 11 kilometers from Jaipur. It was the former stronghold of the Kachhwaha clan of Amber and served as their capital before they moved to Jaipur. The fort, an exquisite blend of white marble and red sandstone, is set against the picturesque backdrop of Maota Lake. As you gaze upon the fort with its reflection in the placid lake, you might wonder if it's a dream or an enchanting illusion. You have the option to ascend to the fortress on an elephant (subject to availability and available for an additional fee) or by jeep. Once at the summit, wander through the expansive complex of courtyards and halls, guided by a knowledgeable narrator who will regale you with captivating tales from the past.

Later, explore the city of Jaipur, which boasts several captivating attractions. The City Palace is a sprawling complex of opulent palaces, lush gardens, ornate courtyards, and a museum housing a remarkable collection of rare manuscripts, armor, costumes, carpets, and miniature paintings. Adjacent to the palace is the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1726. It is one of five such astronomical marvels created by him and continues to make precise predictions to this day.

Jaipur is also a paradise for shoppers, with its bustling bazaars located in the old city. Here, you'll discover a wide array of treasures to acquire, from jewelry (featuring precious and semi-precious stones and handcrafted silver) to textiles, handicrafts, and antiques. For enthusiastic shoppers, "Jaipur" is the ultimate destination to collect cherished souvenirs.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 - Farewell to Jaipur

Prepare for departure as you are transferred to the Jaipur Airport or Railway Station to catch your flight or train for your onward journey to your next destination.
